According to the results of 2025, the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" reported the completion of work amounting to 1.37 billion soms, which is 325.6 million soms more than in 2024. This report was presented by the First Deputy Mayor of Bishkek, Mirlanbek Baigonchokov, at a meeting dedicated to the results of work in the housing and communal services sector.
He also noted that the area subject to sanitary cleaning increased to 11.1 million square meters, and the volume of work completed in this area reached 1.21 billion soms, which is 321.5 million soms more compared to the previous year. The number of subscribers using solid waste collection services increased to 1.04 million people, which generated revenue of 913.9 million soms, exceeding the planned figure of 804.8 million soms and accounting for 113.6% of the plan.
In 2025, 18,755 seedlings of trees and shrubs were planted in the city, which is 7,966 more than last year. Additionally, 1,586,001 annual flowers, 8,210 rose bushes, and 229,380 tulip bulbs were planted, indicating active work in the field of greening and landscaping.
During the cleaning of the riverbeds of Alamedin and Ala-Archa, about 107,000 tons of garbage and sediment were removed. Work was also carried out to improve the "Government" square at the intersection of Chortekov and Jaiyl Batyr streets, and an irrigation well was constructed on an area of 8 hectares.
The municipal enterprise "Bishkeksvet" made significant improvements to the city's lighting system in 2025, replacing 1,161 lamps and laying almost 280 kilometers of self-isolated wires. Additionally, 18,571 LED lights were installed and replaced, including 6,815 as part of capital construction, and 1,329 lighting poles, which significantly improved the quality of street lighting in the capital.
As part of the elevator system upgrade in 2025, contracts were signed for the supply and installation of 100 elevators, with replacements completed at 36 facilities.
In the area of water supply and wastewater disposal, significant work was completed in 2025 amounting to 354 million soms, including the reconstruction of 1.41 kilometers of sewer networks and the construction of 18.9 kilometers of water supply networks, which contributed to improving the reliability of engineering systems and the quality of water supply in some areas of the capital.
Baigonchokov also emphasized that important projects have been completed and are ongoing, including the expansion and commissioning of the "Bashkara-Suu" water intake, work on strengthening the "Orto-Alysh" water intake, as well as the construction of a local water intake for the southern zone of the city amounting to 48.5 million soms, which has been fully implemented. Additionally, the modernization of the "HBO" water intake costing 113 million soms has been completed and is being prepared for commissioning.
In conclusion, it should be noted that a final meeting of the Bishkek city mayor's office board took place at the "Tunguch" theater, chaired by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers and the head of the administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, dedicated to the socio-economic development of the capital for 2025 and tasks for 2026.
