


In Bishkek, a city hall meeting took place to analyze the socio-economic development of the capital for 2025 and to set goals for 2026. The meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister and head of the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
According to the city hall, the mayor shared the main tasks facing the capital in the coming year.
“Our city continues to develop, and we are facing new challenges that need to be overcome. We are confident that 2026 will be a year of significant transformations and improvements for Bishkek. Our task is to make the capital modern, beautiful, and safe, so that residents can be proud of their city,” emphasized Mayor Aybek Dzhunushaliev.
The key areas of work for the city hall in 2026 will be:
- combating traffic jams, developing road infrastructure, and implementing innovations in urban planning;
- improving the quality of housing and communal services;
- construction of social facilities;
- addressing issues related to chaotic construction, street trading, and social protection.
“The main goal of the city hall is to develop and create comfortable conditions for all residents of the city. I am convinced that through our joint efforts, we can realize the ambitious plans that will help Bishkek become a more modern and convenient place to live,” concluded the mayor.
