In the village of Kyzyl-Kyshtak, located in the Kadamjay district of the Batken region, the planting of new seedlings of apricot and cherry has begun.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, apricot varieties Mikado and Jebasreda have been planted on an area of 6.5 hectares, which has recently been put into operation. These varieties are distinguished by their early ripening (fruiting from April 25 to 30) and good transportability, providing a yield of 8 tons per hectare over three years. Additionally, new cherry varieties — Grace and Svid Arina — have been planted in the same area, which can yield up to 10 tons per hectare over five years.
