The competition was held without funding from donors, uniting professionals and youth initiatives
The VIII Ulanbek Egizbaev Award for the best journalistic investigation of 2025 was presented in Bishkek, organized by the Investigative Journalism Foundation.
The ceremony was conducted in a new format, thanks to the collaboration between the foundation and a youth initiative group that regularly organizes events in memory of Ulanbek Egizbaev. The chairman of the foundation, Azamat Tynaev, noted that such a partnership symbolizes the continuity of generations and unites active youth with the professional community of journalists.
