In the city of Kochkor-Ata, the facades of multi-story buildings are being unified in style.
He noted that as part of the beautification efforts, light unauthorized structures in the courtyards were removed, and landscaping work was done using drip irrigation. This year, the painting of another 10 buildings is planned. "Our city has 25 four-story apartment buildings, and none of them have been painted since the Soviet era. Residents of the first floors used the space by their windows for planting raspberries, creating garages, and installing tandyrs," the mayor added.
According to him, explanatory work was carried out with the citizens, as a result of which all unauthorized constructions were removed, and the fenced areas were put in order. We planted Paulownia trees using drip irrigation. This year, we plan to complete the painting of another 10 apartment buildings," Azamat Narmatov said.
Kochkor-Ata is considered the capital of the oil and gas industry of Kyrgyzstan, where one of the largest enterprises in the country engaged in the development of oil and gas fields is located.
