As part of his working trip to Russia, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanbek Dosmambetov, visited several leading medical institutions and educational organizations in Moscow.

According to the press service of the ministry, the main objective of the visit was to study best practices in training medical specialists, organizing high-quality medical care, and implementing modern diagnostic and treatment methods that are of interest to the healthcare system of Kyrgyzstan.

The delegation explored the work of five key institutions covering the most important areas of medicine: medical education, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as digital and robotic technologies.

The first facility visited by the Kyrgyz specialists was the First Moscow State Medical University named after I. Sechenov. This educational institution is one of the leading ones in the country and trains highly qualified medical personnel. The delegation paid special attention to practice-oriented training and the integration of the educational process with clinical and scientific activities.

In the clinical departments of the university, representatives of the Kyrgyz delegation became acquainted with the neurology center, where telemedicine technologies and the possibilities of remote patient consultations were demonstrated.

An important moment was the presentation of robotic surgery using the Da Vinci system. During the demonstration, a real-time operation was shown using robot-assisted technologies. The minister emphasized that the introduction of telemedicine and robotic treatment methods could significantly improve the quality and accessibility of medical services.

In addition, the delegation visited several federal scientific medical centers in Russia, such as the National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery named after A. Bakulev, which employs modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, as well as the National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology named after Academician V. Kulakov, which focuses on maternal and child health, reproductive health, and perinatal care. The National Medical Research Center for Oncology named after N. Blokhin, known for its advanced methods of diagnosing and treating oncological diseases, was also visited.

At the center named after V. Kulakov, Kanbek Dosmambetov learned about the organization of highly specialized obstetric-gynecological and perinatal care, as well as the system of training medical personnel.

It is noted that specialists from Kyrgyzstan undergo training and improve their qualifications at this center, which is an important contribution to the development of the national maternal and child health care system.

The Minister of Health of the KR emphasized that the training and qualification enhancement of Kyrgyz specialists in leading medical centers directly impacts the quality of medical care in the country and is a key direction for improving the reproductive health of the population and reducing maternal and infant mortality.

Kanbek Dosmambetov noted that the experience gained has practical value for the further development of the healthcare system in Kyrgyzstan, especially in the area of training medical personnel, implementing high technologies in medicine, and improving the organization of specialized medical services.
