The Ministry of Internal Affairs warns about the presence of false information on the internet.
According to statements from the Ministry's press service, fake videos are circulating online that allegedly contain statements from high-ranking officials, including representatives of law enforcement agencies. These videos claim that citizens of Kyrgyzstan can earn between 60,000 to 150,000 soms weekly through some investment platform.
“These video materials are created using artificial intelligence technologies and have no relation to real statements. This information is false and misleading,” emphasizes the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Ministry urges citizens to be cautious, not to believe naive promises of quick wealth, to avoid suspicious links, and not to disclose their personal information to third parties.
It should be noted that an investigation has been initiated due to the spread of false content. Based on its results, a corresponding legal decision will be made.
