The creation of the exhibition is the result of a collaborative effort by six of the country's largest cultural institutions, highlighting its significance. Visitors will be able to trace the evolution of the horse's image in Chinese culture—from its role in military battles and as a symbol of imperial power to being a crucial element of trade on the Silk Road.
A particular highlight is a three-colored ceramic horse figurine covered in rare black glaze, which is considered the jewel of the collection. This relic dates back to the Tang dynasty, marking the peak of Chinese art. Only two such figures have been discovered in China, making it incredibly valuable.
In addition to ancient bronze items, miniature figurines, and artworks, the exhibition organizers have also prepared modern elements. An exclusive line of souvenirs has been created for museum guests, including cute toys and stylish accessories that allow visitors to engage with history in an interactive format.
