The Ministry of Construction tested new equipment for building inspections
Modern devices will help detect hidden defects and assess the resilience of structures to seismic impacts.
A new engineering equipment testing was conducted in Kyrgyzstan, aimed at a more accurate assessment of the condition of buildings and their ability to withstand earthquakes. The tests were organized at the State Institute of Seismic Resistant Construction under the Ministry of Construction of the Kyrgyz Republic in collaboration with the Russian company "Tyumengeotechalliance".
During the event, specialists were shown two devices: the "Velosimeter" and the "Baikal-7 Seismic Recorder". These devices have already been used on several sites, allowing for the determination of the dynamic characteristics of buildings, their wear levels, and potential structural deficiencies.
Based on the results of the tests, technical reports will be compiled. If the results are successful, the Ministry of Construction will consider the possibility of further use and, if necessary, procurement.
