Svetlana Nazarenko spoke about her condition and rehabilitation after a stroke
Svetlana Nazarenko, who gained popularity as Aya from the group "Gorod 312," became a participant in the show "Privet, Andrey!" on the channel "Rossiya-1." During the interview, she openly spoke about her recovery after a stroke she suffered three years ago, which forced her to leave the stage.
According to the artist, she contracted coronavirus four times, which led to the formation of a clot and the subsequent stroke.

“When I was transferred from intensive care, I was looked after by caregivers — nurses who took care of me at the time when I was completely immobilized. No one knew about this, not even in Kyrgyzstan. Thank you so much, my dear girls,” Svetlana confessed in a conversation with Andrey Malakhov.

She underwent a lengthy rehabilitation process, and at the moment, she does not have full control over her left arm, which is why she performs while sitting.

Aya noted that she mainly moves independently now, although sometimes she needs support from handrails. Every day she practices special exercises and spends at least 15 minutes on the treadmill.

It should be noted that despite all the difficulties, last autumn she returned to the stage and trains daily for further recovery.

In her group, Svetlana Nazarenko was replaced by Diana Makarova.
