The former tourist base in the city of Osh will be transferred to the balance of the city hall and reconstructed.
According to him, the current state of the facility leaves much to be desired, and he instructed the relevant services to prepare the necessary documents for transferring the building to the mayor's office for its major renovation.
Currently, the facility is under the management of the trade union committee. Historical data shows that for almost 40 years, the building has never undergone major renovations, which has led to its dilapidated condition and effective abandonment.
Previously, the tourist base served as a departmental facility for recreation, including residential buildings, a cafeteria, and auxiliary premises. However, over time, most of the infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and is no longer used for its intended purpose.
Once the building is transferred to the city’s balance, it is planned to be completely renovated and turned into a municipal sanatorium. The mayor's office emphasizes that in the future, it will become another socially oriented institution for the residents of the southern capital.
