February 7. Ballet "The Fountain of Bakhchisarai"


In the Bakhchisarai Palace, before the marble fountain, Khan Girey sinks into sorrow over "sorrowful Maria." The ballet, written by Boris Asafyev based on the poetic novel by Alexander Pushkin, explores the theme of love and its elusiveness.
