In Bishkek, new methods for combating corruption risks were discussed
In Bishkek, on February 6, a meeting was held at the Academy of the General Prosecutor's Office, where new approaches to preventing corruption risks in the work of state and local government bodies were discussed.
According to the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, representatives of the Jogorku Kenesh, the General Prosecutor's Office, as well as experts and representatives of the academic community participated in the event. This event took place as part of a partnership with Transparency International and with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
During the discussions, methods for systematic identification and reduction of corruption risks, conducting anti-corruption expertise of regulatory acts and their drafts, as well as the implementation of risk-oriented procedures in management processes were considered.
The General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic identifies the development of preventive and risk-oriented mechanisms as a key task within the framework of the State Strategy for Combating Corruption for 2025-2030, with the aim of their consistent implementation in public administration.
