At KNU, the "Historical Space of the Great Patriotic War" was opened

The opening of the "Historical Space of the Great Patriotic War" took place at the Kyrgyz National University named after Balasagyn. This event highlights the "Victory Monuments" project, as reported.


The multifunctional center includes stands, books, and educational materials necessary for educational and scientific outreach activities.

This opening was timed to coincide with the 83rd anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad.

Historians and experts from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and other CIS countries, as well as representatives of the Russian embassy, local authorities, patriotic organizations, media, and students participated in the discussion on the importance of preserving the common historical memory of the Great Patriotic War.

Ilya Levitan, a representative of the "Victory Monuments" project, expressed gratitude to the university administration for their cooperation and provided detailed information about the concept of the new "Historical Space."
