The idea of Ilimbek Kubanychbekov to relocate universities from Bishkek to neighboring regions was voiced at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 5, where deputies discussed the issues of traffic congestion in the capital.

Kubanychbekov proposed several solutions, including the possibility of moving re-export and vehicle registration procedures outside the city, for example, to Tokmok or Kara-Balta, which could help reduce the level of road congestion in Bishkek. In his opinion, relocating major universities to these cities would also have a positive impact on their economy and infrastructure.

The deputy's proposal received approval from Amangeldiev, who promised to consider the issue as part of the government's program development.
