The Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, Kanat Sagynbaev, visited the social stationary institution for the elderly in Sulyukta. This event took place as part of the monitoring of the autumn-winter period of 2025–2026 in the ministry's system, as reported by the press service of the department.
During his visit, the minister familiarized himself with the conditions in which 14 people receiving services at this institution live and assessed their current needs. The director of the institution emphasized the necessity of modernizing and renovating the building to improve comfort and safety for elderly citizens.
Kanat Sagynbaev noted that it is important to conduct systematic work to enhance the quality of social services and create a warm, safe, and cozy environment for those under state care. Currently, the ministry manages 17 social stationary institutions. Of these, four institutions are heated with coal, three use a combined method (coal and electricity), and nine are heated with electric heating. The autumn-winter period in the institutions is proceeding steadily and without disruptions.
To ensure reliable heating supply in 2025–2026, 1708.2 tons of coal were prepared, of which 621.4 tons remain at present. All social institutions have the necessary fuel reserves to maintain a comfortable temperature.
