Nurlan Oruntaev spoke about the current state of the construction company "Emakom"
The deputy noted that residents cannot turn on the heating system due to legislative restrictions, and the use of electric heaters also causes problems, as the electricity goes out when they are turned on. People have sought assistance in resolving issues with the documentation.
Minister Oruntaev pointed out that "Emakom" is on the brink of bankruptcy. According to him, "the company currently has no funds. There are several problematic facilities of this firm in Osh and Bishkek - some of them are completed, while others remain unfinished or have not been commissioned. Since last year, the ministry has been working to put such facilities into operation. The president has also instructed us to address unfinished buildings. We are studying the situation and will report the results soon," he added.
Furthermore, Oruntaev warned citizens about the risks of purchasing apartments from little-known companies, especially during the construction phase. "It is not advisable to trust flashy advertisements and rush into buying, as in recent years, due to inflation and rising prices for building materials, some companies have found themselves in a difficult financial situation," he emphasized.
