The Malaysian company Spora Global Sdn Bhd has introduced the concept of a new golf resort in the Tashkent region. Currently, investors are planning a trip to Uzbekistan to select a construction site and analyze technical conditions, reports Podrobno.uz.

The project discussion took place at a meeting between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev and the Executive Director of Spora Global Fio Fahmi. It is expected that this complex will be implemented in collaboration with the regional hokimiyat in the format of a public-private partnership.

According to the investors' vision, the resort will include a professional golf course, a golf club, hotels of four and five-star categories, residential residences, as well as a developed recreational infrastructure – a wellness center, a restaurant, a water park, and facilities for winter sports.

Since 2012, Spora Global has been involved in the development and management of similar projects in Singapore, Australia, Scotland, and other countries.
