Today in Bishkek, under the leadership of the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Arslan Koichiev, a meeting of the expert council took place, aimed at strengthening national unity and forming religious policy under the president of the country.
In his speech, the state secretary noted that this council serves as an advisory body that should engage the expertise of the expert community to develop and implement state policy in the area of interethnic relations and religion. He emphasized the importance of regular meetings of the council, recommending that they be held at least once a quarter.
The agenda of the meeting included discussions on current issues regarding the state of religious and interethnic relations in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the results of studies conducted in these areas, which were presented by representatives of the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations.
