Deputy Altynbek Kudayberdiev expressed the idea that the new schools currently being built could be made branches of prestigious educational institutions.

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 4, he pointed out the problem of the lack of educational institutions in Bishkek and Osh, where many schools are overcrowded. Plans include the construction of 20 new schools in Bishkek and 10 in Osh, as reported.

“However, I doubt that this will solve the problem, as parents strive to send their children to the 61st, 26th, and 13th schools. Even people from the suburbs come. Perhaps it would be worth making branches of these schools in the new buildings? This would allow parents not to have to transport their children to the center and enroll them in schools near their homes. For example, in Osh, there is a good school called 'Olimp'; we could build its branches. This would help avoid situations where there are 50-60 children in a class. The psychology of our citizens is such that they want their children to study specifically in the 26th and 61st schools,” the deputy added.
