Plans to increase green spaces and build new parks in Bishkek

The implementation of a new master plan is starting in Bishkek, which includes a significant increase in green spaces and the construction of new parks. This was announced by Mederbek Kydyrmaev, head of the State Enterprise "Bishkek City Architecture," during a broadcast on the "Kabar" agency.

Kydyrmaev noted that currently, the area of green spaces per capita is only 4.5 square meters, while the normative standard is 16 square meters. In this regard, the master plan includes a section dedicated to the issues of the city's ecological development.

The document specifies particular areas for the placement of new parks and green spaces, as well as plans for landscaping the edges of major highways. In addition, there are provisions for cleaning and improving the banks of the Ala-Archa and Alamedin rivers.

Furthermore, plans include the creation of a large park in the village of Kok-Zhar, which is expected to contribute to improving the ecological situation and enhancing the quality of urban life.
