Hydroponic technology is being implemented in Kyrgyzstan – one of the modern methods that contribute to the development of agriculture. This information was shared by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the ministry's data, hydroponics involves growing plants without the use of soil, relying instead on water enriched with necessary nutrients.
One of the main advantages of this method is the significant conservation of water resources and high yields. Experts note that the use of hydroponics allows for a reduction in water consumption by 70-90% compared to traditional agricultural methods, as well as promoting faster plant growth.
In addition, vegetables produced using hydroponics meet high environmental standards and can be grown year-round. This opens new horizons for agriculture, especially in urban conditions and limited spaces.
"Hydroponics represents a technology of the future, making a significant contribution to food security and the rational use of resources," emphasized a project representative.
This initiative aims to support innovative solutions in the agricultural sector, attract young entrepreneurs, and provide the local market with high-quality agricultural products.
