Deputy: 17 families are left without housing due to the prolonged construction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs building
The deputy reported that she had been approached by retirees from the ministry, widows of deceased employees, and individuals who were dismissed due to health reasons.
According to her, the construction of the house began in 2016, and it was planned to be completed in 2020. However, the actual commissioning only took place in the summer of 2023, by which time many of those who had reached out were no longer in service. If the house had been built on time, these families would have been able to receive housing and enter the compensation program. But, unfortunately, this did not happen due to the extended construction timelines," the deputy noted.
She urged the cabinet of ministers to consider the interests of these families and provide them with compensation for mortgages.
