The buildings have been declared "emergency," and a new site has been designated for their replacement.
The artistic workshops, which have been creating decorations for national performances of the Kyrgyz State Opera and Ballet Theater for many years, will be relocated. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Seismologists from the State Institute of Seismic Resistant Construction and Engineering Design conducted an examination and issued a harsh verdict: the workshop building can no longer be used. The condition of the structures and their low seismic resistance made working in this historic building unsafe.
In this regard, a decision was made to allocate a new site for the construction of a modern building within the city limits. This project has already been included in the plans.
The emergency building will be transferred to the Ministry of Finance.
