The deputy emphasized that he understands why the government has taken such measures but urged it to reconsider these restrictions. "Allow at least temporary registration for a month at the border so that our citizens do not have to leave their cars here," he addressed the representative of the president and the government in parliament, Almasbek Abytov.
Additionally, he noted that many people are suffering because their cars with Russian license plates have been impounded, and they cannot retrieve them.
Bekeshev proposed: "Give the opportunity to legalize these vehicles. Let people pay some amount. Should they really be sent for disposal? I ask you to consider the issue of additional legalization for vehicles with Armenian and Abkhazian plates, as not everyone has managed to do this."
Furthermore, the deputy made a request for assistance for citizens of Kazakhstan who have families in Kyrgyzstan.
“Many of them cannot enter due to visa runs. We receive numerous such requests. Let’s make an exception for them. Help, many families are facing difficulties: children, grandmothers, and mothers are left in Kyrgyzstan,” he concluded.
