He emphasized that despite the construction of new educational institutions, parents still prefer to send their children to already established and sought-after schools, often traveling significant distances.
“For example, many parents strive for their children to study specifically at school No. 61. Why not make the new educational institutions branches of well-known schools? This would help reduce class sizes and simplify access to education,” the deputy added.
Earlier, the Ministry of Construction announced the start of work on the construction of 20 new schools in Bishkek, providing a list of the buildings under construction. According to the information from the ministry, there are tens of thousands more students in the capital's schools than the projected capacity allows.
