All parking lots in Bishkek will implement payment only via QR code » Gazeta.kg

In Bishkek, the implementation of a parking payment system exclusively using QR codes is planned. This was announced by Bakai Asylbek uulu, the director of the municipal enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure," during a joint meeting of the factions "Emgek" and "Zhańy Kүch" in the city council.

According to Asylbek uulu, there are currently 3,221 parking spaces in Bishkek. A pilot project is actively underway in the capital, which allows for parking payment via QR code.

He also added that at this moment, such a system is already functioning on the section from Bokonbaeva Street to Jibek Jolu Avenue.

The main goal of installing QR codes throughout the city is to eliminate the need for parking attendants, emphasized Bakai Asylbek uulu.
