Deputy from the "Emgek" faction Elmira Dosalieva asked about the timeline for the start of construction, specifying when exactly the construction of the new building will begin.
In response, the vice-mayor noted that the project for the new building was developed back in 2020, and it is currently undergoing adjustments to increase its capacity.
According to Azamat Kadyrov, construction work is scheduled for the end of this week after the adjustments are completed. The new facility will include two underground floors with parking.
Earlier, the capital construction department of the city hall reported that the new municipal building will be erected on the site of the existing parking lot behind the current city hall building, located at 7 Kyivskaya Street, which is currently not in operation.
