The residents expressed a desire to restore the building on their own, but for this, they need to obtain permission from the Ministry of Construction. At the same time, all utilities for this building have been disconnected.
Deputy Minister of Construction Talantbek Imanakun uulu stated that until 2020, there were up to 30 illegal constructions in Bishkek. According to him, such a situation is no longer observed today, and the authorities are paying special attention to this issue. "We take responsibility for completing the construction of such facilities. As for already completed buildings, residents can live in them, and issues related to water supply and electricity are being resolved legally. The Ministry takes responsibility for the issuance of technical passports," he added.
Kilychbaev emphasized that residents are experiencing serious difficulties during the winter period and called for a prompt resolution of the situation. In response, the deputy minister stated that they are ready to go to the site and promptly address the problem.
