The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved a new procedure regarding the interaction between state structures and local authorities in the process of removing minors from the criminal justice system. The main goal of the document is to protect the interests of children and ensure compliance with the norms of the Criminal Procedure Code.

According to the new resolution, a mechanism for interagency cooperation has been developed, covering all stages—from the recording of the case to the subsequent rehabilitation and return of the child to a safe environment. Various state organizations are involved in this process, including the Ministries of Social Protection, Education, Health, Justice, and Local Self-Government.

The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration will create a unified electronic database, which will improve information exchange between agencies. Special attention is paid to compliance with legislation on the protection of personal data.

Funding for all activities will be carried out within the approved budgets of the respective ministries and agencies. The resolution will come into effect in a week.
