In the madrasah of the city of Manas, explanatory work was conducted with the leadership and students.
At the direction of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Manas Prosecutor's Office, together with local authorities, the city department of internal affairs, and the sanitary-epidemiological surveillance center of the Jalal-Abad region, as well as with the participation of a representative of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the country, conducted inspections in the madrasas of the city.
According to the city administration, the main objective of these inspections was to ensure the protection of the rights of minors studying in madrasas. During the event, the living and learning conditions were checked, as well as compliance with sanitary norms and safety issues.
In addition, representatives of the relevant authorities conducted explanatory work with the directors of the madrasas, teachers, and students regarding the requirements of the legislation.
During the discussions, special attention was paid to the consequences of early marriages among youth, legal responsibility for this, children's rights to education, health protection, and the necessity of prioritizing the interests of children.
Currently, there are 4 madrasas for girls and 1 for boys operating in Manas.
