During a meeting with representatives of the state enterprise "Unaa," the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, reported that over the past ten years, there have been 75,000 road traffic accidents in the country.
The head of state noted that as a result of these incidents, 9,120 people lost their lives, and 13,260 people sustained various injuries. Almost half of those injured became disabled, which creates additional social obligations for the state, including the need to provide benefits.
Japarov emphasized that this data highlights the seriousness of the road safety situation and the necessity of implementing comprehensive measures to improve it.
