Ministry of Construction: Currently, 668 facilities are being built in Kyrgyzstan

At the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to industrial policy, transport, and construction, the Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services Talantbek Imanakun uulu reported that in 2025, 15.5 billion soms will be allocated from the republican budget for the construction of various facilities.

For the purposes of 2024, 11.6 billion soms are planned for these needs.

“Currently, 668 facilities are under construction in the country. Last year, the construction of 291 facilities was completed, and in 2024, it is planned to complete another 230. In 2025, 129 schools will be built, and in 2024 — 100. Last year, the construction of 60 kindergartens was completed, and in 2024 — 45,” the deputy minister added.

During the meeting, the deputies also reviewed information from the Ministry of Construction regarding the policy of price formation for construction works and services, as well as trends in price increases in this sector.
