One of the topics of discussion was a bill that proposes to increase monetary contributions for alternative service. According to the Ministry of Defense, in 2024, 714 million soms were received from alternative service.
A deputy raised the issue of salaries for civilian employees. In response, a representative of the Ministry of Defense confirmed that current salaries are indeed low. According to the agency, under the minister's order, 7000 soms are allocated for special funds, 2000 soms are designated for transportation expenses, and 5000 soms are for daily meals. After tax deductions, an employee receives approximately 5600 soms.
The total salary for civilian personnel, including special funds and base salary, in high-altitude regions ranges from 26,000 to 30,000 soms, while in Bishkek this figure is about 20,000 soms.
Ulan Primov called for the necessity of raising salaries for civilian employees and intensifying work in this direction.
