A round table titled "100 Years of the Kyrgyz ASSR: Experience and Prospects" was held in Bishkek.
In Bishkek, at the Institute of History, Archaeology, and Ethnology named after B. Jamgerchinov under the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, a round table was held dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
According to statements from the president's administration, the event was conducted under the leadership of the State Secretary of Kyrgyzstan, Arslan Koichiev.
He emphasized the importance of scientific analysis of the history of the formation of Kyrgyz statehood, as well as the political and social processes that took place during the Soviet period. Koichiev also highlighted the significance of researching issues of national self-awareness and identity, as well as the necessity to continue work in this area.
During the meeting, archival materials were discussed, during which historians, political scientists, and other experts presented their conceptual scientific ideas.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Arslan Koichiev noted that such scientific discussions contribute to a deeper understanding of the history of Kyrgyz statehood, help draw lessons from the past, and contemplate the future development of the country. He called on the scientific community for further systematic study of this important topic.
