Capital Construction in Atatürk Park in Bishkek: The City Hall Sees No Violations
“The reconstruction will not violate the park's concept”
In Bishkek, construction work has begun in Atatürk Park, as reported by readers of Vesti.kg.
On the site where stables, trees, and shrubs were previously located, a new building is emerging.
According to the city administration, all ongoing work is part of the reconstruction of Atatürk Park.
“We guarantee that the reconstruction will not violate the park's concept. A facility is being built here for equine therapy for people with disabilities,” municipal representatives assured.
It should be noted that the Bishkek city administration collected funds from property owners located within the park. These funds were used to create running and walking paths, as well as sports and children's playgrounds. However, some local residents expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the city administration, as significant tree and shrub removal occurred during the work.
