In an interview provided to the publication 24.kg, Edil Baisalov, Deputy Prime Minister, highlighted that medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan will be able to reach a level comparable to those in the Czech Republic and Turkey.
He pointed to recent changes in the Ministry of Health, where the new leader came with his team.

“Although there will not be radical changes in the next five years, within ten years, every district hospital and clinic, as well as central medical institutions, will meet standards similar to those existing in the Czech Republic and Turkey. We will provide modern equipment and qualified medical assistance in comfortable conditions. This will undoubtedly change our perception of life in the country,” noted Edil Baisalov, adding that this anticipation serves as an important motivation for his work.

It should be noted that Kyrgyz hospitals are experiencing a shortage of equipment and medications, and queues have become a common occurrence in medical institutions.

Additionally, the authorities plan to create a medical city in Bishkek, where the main healthcare institutions of the country will be relocated, and are currently seeking partners to implement this project.
