In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, an event was held dedicated to achievements and plans in the field of hockey. The press conference gathered key participants, including the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the president of the Hockey Federation of Kyrgyzstan, Anvar Omorkanov, and the first vice-president of the Federation, Elzar Bolotbekov. The youth national team U20, which won the championship title in the third division of group B of the World Hockey Championship held in Kyrgyzstan, also participated in the event.
During the conference, the main directions for the further development of hockey in the country were discussed. Special attention was paid to the historic success of the youth team, as well as the upcoming U18 Asian Cup, which will take place in Kyrgyzstan starting April 27.
Participants were provided with information about the future participation of the national team in the second division of group B under the auspices of IIHF in Bulgaria, as well as the performances of the hockey clubs "Uchur" and "Alga" in the open championship of Uzbekistan.
At the conclusion of the press conference, representatives of the Federation and the State Agency answered journalists' questions, discussing plans for improving hockey infrastructure, engaging with youth, and expanding international ties.
