The Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev recently visited the fields of the "Kyrgyzmamasyltukum" factory, where he detailed the advantages of using carbomint to farmers. According to information provided by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, winter wheat varieties were sown on plots covering 50 hectares. It is expected that this year's yield will be at least 60 quintals due to the use of certified seed material and necessary mineral additives.
“Farmers first conducted a soil analysis to identify deficiencies in macro and microelements. The main missing components are phosphorus, potassium, and nitrogen. Carbomint is used to replenish these,” the minister reported. He explained that the fertilizer is loaded into a special hopper, from where it is delivered to rotating discs through a dosing mechanism, which evenly distributes it across the field.
Torobaev also emphasized that many farmers incorrectly apply pesticides to control weeds. “Weeds growing alongside wheat negatively affect growth and yield. Many make the mistake of using uncertified seeds, which leads to low-quality harvests,” he noted.
To address these issues, there are 22 laboratories operating in the country where farmers can access certified seeds or conduct quality analysis of their harvest.
Carbomint is a mineral fertilizer that enriches the soil and provides plants with essential elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, contributing to increased yields. It is used for various agricultural crops, including wheat, corn, and potatoes. The fertilizer is produced in granulated form and is applied using specialized equipment, such as the RUM.
The RUM is a device for distributing mineral fertilizers that is mounted on a tractor and operates from the power take-off. It allows for the even distribution of granules across the field surface, and the application parameters can be precisely adjusted according to needs.
