The exhibition will bring together both professional designers and educational institutions. One of the main aspects of the event will be the exhibition of works by 15 students from the ceramics studio at the "Svetoch Plus" school. These works were created under the guidance of experienced designers and ceramists Alexey Menzelintsev and Karina Kasymova, who are actively developing ceramics as a contemporary art form and educational direction. The studio engages children aged 5 to 12, which is a rare example of integrating applied arts into early artistic education.
As one of the oldest crafts in Central Asia, ceramics, through its forms, ornaments, and colors, reflects the perceptions of the world and aesthetics, becoming a language of culture. In this context, introducing ceramics at a young age is not just an artistic practice but a living continuation of the region's traditions. Early interaction with ceramics fosters the development of spatial thinking, fine motor skills, a sense of form and material, as well as the ability to realize an idea from start to finish. Working with clay cultivates patience, concentration, and responsibility for the created object; participation in a professional exhibition provides children with a unique experience that goes beyond academic imitation. This approach helps establish a connection between children's artistic education and the professional sphere, demonstrating that modern design and applied arts can begin at an early age, consciously and at a high level.
