The akyn of the National Theater "Manas" took 3rd place at the international aytish in Kazakhstan

At the international aitys titled "A Man Born for the People...", which took place in Uralsk, poet Argen Biymyrza uulu from the National Theater "Manas" took an honorable third place.

The event was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the famous statesman and public figure Mustakhim Ikshanov.

Mustakhim Belyalovich Ikshanov (March 30, 1926, Baydukovo village, Ural Province, Kazakh ASSR — November 18, 1991) was a Soviet Kazakh party and state figure. Notable positions in his career included the first secretary of the Kyzylorda regional committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan (from 1963 to 1966), the first secretary of the Zhambyl regional committee of the Communist Party (1970-1971), and the first secretary of the Ural regional committee (1976-1985). He was also a candidate member of the Central Committee of the CPSU from 1976 to 1986 and a member of the Central Auditing Commission of the CPSU from 1971 to 1976. Ikshanov served as a deputy of the Soviet Union Council of the Supreme Soviet in the 7th to 11th convocations (1962-1970 and 1974-1989) representing the Ural region.
