From February 2 to 6, Bishkek will become a platform for international cooperation as part of a volunteer initiative called "Mission GOOD." In this ninth visit, special attention will be given to animal protection, particularly the rehabilitation of wild birds. An important event in the program will be the work at the "Zoo Bishkek" center by the renowned veterinarian from Russia, Karen Dallakyan, who is the president of the "Save Me" foundation.
Karen Dallakyan, a recognized specialist in the treatment of wild animals, will conduct numerous complex surgeries and consultations for birds injured by poachers or accidents in nature. This is a unique opportunity for Kyrgyz ornithologists and veterinarians to gain new knowledge and skills from an expert with 25 years of experience, whose methods help return even the most challenging patients to the wild. Preserving bird populations is a key aspect of Kyrgyzstan's ecosystem and an important task for ensuring ecological safety in the country.
The "Mission GOOD" program, launched in 2021 through the cooperation of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Dobro.rf Association, has reached over 20 countries and has provided assistance to thousands of people and animals. The current visit highlights the deepening partnership between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, where the exchange of experience in the veterinary field serves as an important step in protecting the unique fauna of the region.
