On January 31, the second stage of the master class dedicated to the sewing and embroidery of the traditional Kyrgyz belt, beldemchi, will take place at the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev. The event will be held under the guidance of Turar Turganaly, an artist and designer who is a member of the Union of Artists, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

Beldemchi is a traditional wrap skirt or cape with a wide belt, which is an integral part of the Kyrgyz women's national costume. This garment, worn over a dress or kamzol, symbolizes femininity, dignity, protects against the cold, and demonstrates a connection to cultural roots. Beldemchi is made from velvet, silk, or other fabrics, and its decoration includes embroidery that holds deep symbolic meaning.

Participants of the master class are required to bring materials with them: a piece of velvet or corduroy fabric measuring 1m by 1.5m, as well as tools such as embroidery threads, needles, and scissors.
