The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that the introduction of licensing is aimed at:
- organizing passenger transportation;
- ensuring safety on the roads;
- preserving the health and lives of citizens;
- reducing the number of road traffic accidents;
- preventing the operation of vehicles that have not passed technical inspection;
- controlling the work and rest regime of drivers.
Considering citizens' requests, the deadline for obtaining licenses has been extended to July 1, 2026.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs expresses gratitude to those citizens who responsibly approached the requirements and timely obtained their licenses.
Those who have not yet obtained a license are advised not to postpone the paperwork until the last moment and to contact the State Traffic Safety Department in advance.
To obtain a license, it is necessary to provide not only a passport and driver's license but also a vehicle registration certificate and a receipt for the state duty payment of 500 som. In total, seven documents are required, three of which can be obtained through the mobile application "Tündük".
Among the necessary documents:
- registration certificate with tax authorities;
- contract of mandatory insurance of civil liability of the carrier towards passengers;
- certificate of absence or presence of a criminal record.
Documents that must be presented in person:
- employment contract with a legal entity (carrier, fleet);
- power of attorney for vehicle management and/or lease agreement;
- act of passing the technical inspection of the vehicle;
- medical certificate confirming the driver's health.
