In Bishkek, in the Pervomaisky district, Mayor Aybek Junushaliev held a meeting with local residents who were included as part of the administrative-territorial reform (ATR). This information was provided by the city hall.
Among the participants of the meeting were residents from the districts of Maevka, Tendik, Kalyis-Ordo, Stepnoye, MTU No. 207, as well as from the residential areas of "Muras-Ordo," "Dacha-Suu," "Kut," and the village of Ozyornoye, in addition to representatives from city services.
During the discussion, residents raised a number of issues concerning the social sphere and infrastructure. These included problems such as the lack of educational institutions, kindergartens, medical points, as well as insufficient public transport, slow rates of sewage and drainage system cleaning, lack of street lighting, the need for traffic lights and pedestrian crossings, and the unsatisfactory condition of water supply pumping stations and safety levels.
Questions were also raised regarding the sale of cut firewood at prices ranging from 2000 to 3000 soms in some regions, the emergency condition of the bridge at the entrance to "Muras-Ordo," and the problem of increased humidity in 18 ponds of this residential area.
In response, the mayor instructed to consider the possibility of providing cut firewood for free to low-income citizens and initiated an investigation into the facts of their sale by the relevant services.
Regarding land amnesty issues, Junushaliev noted that if illegal constructions hinder road projects, appropriate measures will be taken by March. He also reported that road construction work will begin in March 2026.
As part of the ATR, the development of water supply and sewage systems in the new territories will be carried out according to a pre-approved plan.
Additionally, it was reported that a school for 750 students is under construction in the "Kut" residential area.
At the end of the meeting, Mayor Aybek Junushaliev gave specific instructions to the heads of relevant services and noted that he would personally monitor the implementation of all the raised issues.
