At the meeting of the parliamentary groups "Eldik" and "Ala-Too" on January 30, Deputy Nilufar Alimjanova raised the issue of how Kyrgyz citizens in Russia can replace their driver's licenses. She noted that many of them work in taxis and may face difficulties.

The deputy pointed out that not all Russian cities have representations of Kyrgyzstan and inquired whether it is necessary to return to the homeland to resolve this issue. She expressed concerns that such a situation could negatively affect Kyrgyz citizens.

In response, Deputy Foreign Minister Almaz Imangaziev stated that there are a significant number of diplomatic and consular institutions in Russia.
He explained that personal presence is required for replacing driver's licenses, as the procedure requires FaceID.

Alimjanova, in turn, urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intensify its actions, including informational work.
