At the meeting of the parliamentary groups "Ala-Too" and "Eldik" on January 30, Primov inquired with the Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration Kanat Sagynbaev about the cost of a bag of flour.

The minister replied that the price is likely around 1,500 soms.

However, Primov disagreed: "You are not aware. A bag of flour costs between 1,700 and 2,500 soms. The minimum consumer basket is 8,700 soms. How can one survive on 6,000 soms if a family of five does not receive benefits? Yes, I understand this is a complex issue, but the country's economy shows positive results. By 2025, GDP will be around 2 trillion soms. There is growth, but the benefits you provide were determined in 2020. Five years have passed since then! What has inflation been during this time? In 2025, it was 9.5%," the deputy emphasized.

Additionally, Primov noted that low-income families do not receive benefits if they own a vehicle, including a combine harvester, that is less than 20 years old.

"But the combine is only used seasonally. The owner will not be using this combine for transportation like a taxi!" he exclaimed and called for a review of the criteria for granting benefits.
