According to reports from the parliament's press service, Kainy currently lacks cultural institutions, and the only House of Culture, which previously belonged to a sugar factory, is in extremely poor condition. This has led local residents to appeal to the authorities for assistance in building a new House of Culture.
Turgunbek uulu emphasized that, despite the focus on regional development, cities located near the capital should not be overlooked.
“Once, Kainy was famous not only in Kyrgyzstan but also beyond its borders. However, in the early years of independence, it was neglected, and its social and infrastructure problems only worsened. The outdated condition of the cultural institution is a vivid confirmation of this. Therefore, the ministry must urgently allocate funds for the construction of a new multifunctional building,” he noted.
The Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, and Youth Policy also presented the project for the new House of Culture.
The speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh added that when designing cultural facilities, it is important to consider national color, and he suggested making appropriate changes to the project.
After this, the deputies inspected the site in the Panfilov district where a cultural and educational health center is planned to be built and reviewed the project.
Local authorities reported that the center will be located near residential buildings that are planned to be constructed on a mortgage basis.
“In the last 3-4 years, we have focused on building schools, kindergartens, and hospitals, and now it is time to pay attention to the creation of health and cultural institutions. The main wealth of our state is its people. By caring for the health and education of citizens, as well as developing culture, we can build a strong state. These areas are interconnected and are priorities,” the speaker emphasized, noting that the construction of this facility should begin as soon as possible.
