Appeal to the Authorities via Social Media
Entrepreneurs from the Osh market are concerned about the possibility that they will have to purchase trading spaces again when transitioning to the new market. They have used social media to ask their questions to the authorities.
According to them, they were initially promised that the relocation would go smoothly and that all current traders would be able to obtain new spaces free of charge. However, according to unconfirmed information, entrepreneurs will still have to pay for their trading areas again.
It is worth noting that this year the relocation of the Osh market to a new location in the north of Bishkek is planned, where new trading spaces are currently under construction.
