About 200 applications were submitted by young professionals and students aged 16 to 35, representing countries such as Azerbaijan, Turkey, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. The projects covered topics of digital awareness, energy efficiency, and the development of analytical tools for shaping energy policy.
The project "Energy Transparency Hub: a digital platform for open energy data for CECECO countries," prepared by Altynbek Bakasov, Deputy Head of the Balances and Losses of Electric Energy Department at the Kyrgyz Energy Settlement Center, received high praise from the organizers and was awarded a special nomination for "Best Technical Solution."
Altynbek Bakasov was the only representative from his country to receive an award at this international competition.
